#17 Horse Harness Repairing by Louis Michael  Roehl, from 1912 (book on CD in PDF format)  A practical guide with many photos, illustrations and step-by-step instructions.
#18 “Character Building or What I Know About Training Colts” by Eugene Snow.  Mr. Snow, at the time he wrote the book in 1905, had raised and trained driving horse for over 30 years. This 48 page book is a nice read on training the driving horse.  Not much has changed in over a hundred years.
